Elizabeth and Katy
Elizabeth Jane Hurley was an English actress, model and a singer who soared to fame in the 1990s when she was the girlfriend of Hugh Grant. In the 1990s, when Grant's film Four Weddings and a Funeral made waves across the world, Hurley accompanied Grant to its Los Angeles premiere wearing a black Versace gown with gold safety pins. The dress immediately garnered press attention. What has been the highlight of her professional journey has been her association with the cosmetics company Estee Lauder. Hurley was recruited by Estee Lauder as her first model at age 29. In 1995 she's been employed as a face for products from the company, including Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures. The most famous film performance was as Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers' hit spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). Hurley models for and designs his own collection of beachwear. Katy Perry..........................Katy Perry original name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, (born October 25 1984 Santa Barbara California U.S.) American pop singer who gained fame for a string of anthemic and often sexually suggestive hit songs as well as for a playfully cartoonish sense of style. Perry's first efforts to be a mainstream superstar were unsuccessful. Two different label signed her before she removed her from the market before she'd recorded any songs. However, in 2007, Capitol Records put out Perry's EP Ur So Gay which attracted only a little attention because of its cheeky title track. I Loved a Girl was a more robust ode of sexism and complemented by the hard-edged rhythm of electro-pop. Many critics accused the track of encouraging homosexual relations, some claimed that the racy depiction was meant in order to entice men into fantasy. I Kissed a Girl's combination of excitement, a polished tune and a catchy chorus helped it become a top-ten hit in a variety of countries. That helped her sell more albums including the album One of the Boys (2007). Hot N Cold, Perry's bouncy and sharply-tongued album with the second single that became a hit, also received a lot of attention. The album that Perry composed herself sold more than 3 million copies.
